They are modified luxury SUV 4×4‘s on big tyres that make us able to take you into the highlands, across unbridged rivers and even drive on ice caps, so you can explore more of Iceland, not just what‘s by the main roads. We offer Iceland summer holidays and winter vacations, day tours from Reykjavik and photo tours, but mostly we customize Iceland adventures to selective travelers.

Day Tours
We at Nature Explorer are very proud of Iceland and love to explore Iceland’s natural wonders with our fellow travelers and share the adventure. It’s the reason we are in this business and why you should try our 4×4 Super Jeep adventure day tours from Reykjavik. Other reasons include the very small group size, max 6 passengers in each super-jeep and that you will see more in one day than on most other tours.
Multi Day Adventures
The multi day adventures are tours where you stay overnight out of Reykjavik for one ore more nights – so you can explore more of Iceland, go further and beyond. Under this category you find different premade summer holidays, winter vacations in Iceland and weekend getaways. Note however that these are just examples, to give you ideas and then we will gladly adjust to your needs and wishes.
Photography Tours
Two of our guides are published photographers, with three books, including Photo Guide to Iceland (which you can download for free) so we can truly say we know Iceland from the photographer‘s perspective. We run photo tours and photography workshops, both independantly and together with other photographers, both pre-made small group tours and customized private tours. Iceland is amazing for landscape photographers. We hope we can share a photographic adventure in Iceland with you.
4×4 Training
Iceland has a great variety of difficult terrain within short distances so it’s easy to get training in all types of challenges and conditions, incl. snow, sand, unbridged rivers, rocky terrain and rough mountain tracks. Icelanders have a strong 4×4 culture and expert knowledge in the field from dealing with these challenges. We have trained military forces and movie stars and people who just want to learn a bit more to increase there skills and have a fun adventure.
